Parked, addon and subdomains - What are they?

Parked domain: A second domain leading to your hosted domain.
Parked domains are commonly used when you need a place to park a domain you do not have a website for, when you have more than one domain that should lead to your primary domain, or when you have common misspellings of your domain name that you have registered.
Example: www.myparkeddomain.com leading to www.myactualdomain.com

Subdomain: A subdomain is a second website, with its own unique content, created under your registered domain.
Example: In addition to www.yourdomain.com, you create yourname.yourdomain.com or forums.yourdomain.com which host separate sites under the same account.

Addon domain: An addon domain is a second website, with its own unique content, hosted under your account's www in a directory.
This type does require you to register the new domain name before you can host it.
Example: www.addondomain.com points to www/addondomain in your site's file structure.
